Among Us Readathon TBR

This month, I have decided to participate in the Among Us Readathon hosted by @hdsreadinglife over on Twitter. Check out the readathon’s Twitter page here.

Fix Wiring (Read a Sequel)

The Dragon Republic by R.F. Kuang

I am starting 2021 by rereading The Poppy War in order to move on in the series. The Dragon Republic is the second book in the series.

Unlock Manifolds (Read a book that features disability rep)

A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

Thank you to the individuals who recommended this book for this prompt. I have owned a copy for months now and I had not had the chance to pick it up yet.

Divert Power Pt. 1 (Read a book by an author of color)

The Burning God by R.F. Kuang

The Burning God was already on my TBR for the month of January and it so happens to fit this category. I am super excited to finish this series.

Divert Power Pt. 2 (Read a book by a new to you author)

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

Ready Player One is one of those popular books I always meant to get to, but was buried by the large amount of unread books I own. Maybe after I finish, I can finally watch the film?

Are you participating in the Among Us readathon this month?

December TBR

To be honest, I am tired of the usual TBR posts. It feels tedious… Does anyone else feel that way? I decided to change this up by just listing a few bullet points, summarizing why I am excited to read this book for the month of December.

  • My favorite genre: Fantasy! (Also Young adult)
  • F/F romance. Representation is always good in a book.
  • Fascinating concept: Automae rebelled against their human owners, turning the status quo on its head.
  • Fantasy duology; sequel is slated to be released in 2020.
  • I love this cover; it immediately caught my attention.

A very late November TBR coming your way. To be honest, I have no clue why I take the time to make a TBR list when I never follow it. I am such a mood reader. I take too much time deciding which my next read should be. This list was compiled keeping in mind the reading goals I had made earlier in the year.

TBR Alphabet Book Tag

The TBR Alphabet Book Tag is a way to organize your ever-growing pile of unread books in a creative way by choosing a book that starts with each letter of the alphabet. I did add a few rules for myself and you’ll find them down below in bold. I found this wonderful blog at Read By Tiffany , make sure to check out her blog!

Rules –
  • Name a book title from your TBR for every letter of the alphabet (can exclude words like ‘the’ if need be) these must be books that you have physical/e-book copies of and not ones you intend on getting but haven’t yet.
  • Try to include different authors for every single one.
  • At the bottom of your list put how many you could fill in (out of 26).
  • Tag other people to join in and link back  to the person who tagged you.
  • As I have been trying to use the library more often, I did include a few library books as long as they were ones I was already planning on borrowing soon.
  • I also included a few books coming out in the next month or so that I plan on immediately buying upon release.

March TBR

I don’t usually make specific TBRs as I typically choose my next book based on my mood. I have been finding it more difficult to make that choice due to the vast amount of amazing titles that have been released recently. 2019 has already been a great year for new releases. By making this list, I hope to help future me make that decision easier. I have read 8 books a month so far this year so I choose 8 books for my TBR, my most anticipated among ones that will help me reach my reading goals as explained in this post.

I am currently rereading the Ember in the Ashes series so that I can read the third and final book in the series, A Reaper at the Gates.
